Conor McGregor, a star in the UFC, would lose close to half of his Twitter followers if Elon Musk followed through on his promise to delete false accounts. The audit claims that McGregor, the biggest name in mixed martial arts, stands to lose the most because an astounding 4.1 million of his 9.6 million followers are thought to be fraudulent.
This represents 42.3% of his total fan base. With an estimated 3.9 million bogus followers, UFC legend Anderson Silva ranks second on the list. Due to the possibility of 38% of his 7.5 million followers being false, “The Spider” also stands to lose a lot. Several UFC fighters like Khabib Nurmagomedov, Cody Garbrandt and Jon Jones can fce the same ill-fate.
