Masvidal was always against the cancel culture on Twitter. Being a Donald Trump supporter, he did not take it kindly when the platform banned the former President of the United States. Jorge Masvidal makes a request to Elon Musk

After the announcement of Musk’s takeover of Twitter, several popular figures have returned to the platform. These include the likes of MMA star Gina Carano. As the changes started to roll in, Jorge Masvidal tweeted a request to Elon Musk.

In his tweet, ‘Gamebred’ asked Musk to take him out of a Twitter time-out. It was unclear what Masvidal was referring to. Several fans in the comment section said that he was talking about shadow-banning. Meanwhile, some fans also pointed out that Masvidal had not been shadow banned as he could tweet. They suggested a lack of engagement on tweets and posts did not necessarily mean that he was shadow banned.

Weeks After Feuding With ‘B*tch’ Conor McGregor, Jorge Masvidal ‘Verbally Agrees’ Fight Against Star UFC Welterweight

This is not the first time ‘Gamebred’ fired shots at Twitter. Masvidal was an avid Trump supporter during the elections. He was also one of Trump’s favorite UFC fighters. Trump showed up to watch Masvidal compete for the BMF title. Therefore, Masvidal was upset and threatened to leave Twitter after they permanently banned Trump in 2021.

While it would be interesting to see if Masvidal receives a response from Musk, many of his fans are interested in knowing when he will make his UFC comeback.

Masvidal’s coach wants Conor McGregor or Leon Edwards next

Jorge Masvidal lost three fights in a row after beating Nate Diaz for the BMF belt. He faced Kamaru Usman twice for the welterweight title. Masvidal came up short on both occasions and lost the second fight via a knockout. He also lost his grudge match against his bitter rival and former teammate, Colby Covington.

While many fans thought Masvidal was in a tough spot, his head coach Mike Brown begged to differ. Brown said that Masvidal still had big options available to him. He suggested that a bout against a returning Conor McGregor would be a big PPV.
